Villa di Campagna is rooted deep in family tradition that has stemmed from a small region in Italy called “Campagna”. This region in translation means “Countryside” which is what originally brought Gennaro and Elsa to the Texas Hill Country as it’s a true resemblance of Gennaro’s home town in Napoli.

A true American Dream was created when Gennaro migrated from Italy at the age of 18 to pursue a more fulfilling life and achieve the hard to reach goals he had always dreamt about. He quickly made his way up through the restaurant industry and established his very first location in Deer Park, TX in 1988 with the help of his equally hard working wife, Elsa. All the rest is history through several successful restaurants and the one that brought them out to the Texas Hill Country, Gennaro’s Trattoria. Gennaro and family have been lucky enough to have created life-long friends in Canyon Lake and wanted to give this amazing community we’ve grown to love a special place to enjoy the company of one another.

This is what we bring to you in 2020, Gennaro’s Villa di Campagna. A beautifully crafted Tuscan style event space tucked away in vintage oak trees with accents of mature olive trees transforming you to the beautiful Campagna region of Italy. We have refined our craft over the years and are offering two quite different spaces for you. The main floor holds our classy light filled space offering spectacular views of the Texas Hill Country and the wine cellar offers a true Tuscan experience surrounded by brick, stone, and wines from around the world.
